BABYMONSTER signaled a distinctive musical color and raised the heart rates of fans around the world.
On the 23rd, YG Entertainment posted "[WE GO UP] TRACKLIST" on its official blog. The credits for the four tracks — the title track "WE GO UP", "PSYCHO", "SUPA DUPA LUV", and "WILD" — were revealed for the first time.
The songwriting team that had come together to perfect BABYMONSTER's musical completeness all appeared together. YG producers such as CHOICE37, DEE.P, P.K, Kang Wook-jin, AiRPLAY, Diggy, LIL G, LP, and Sonny joined forces, and overseas composers who worked on [BABYMONS7ER] and [DRIP] lent their support, suggesting a powerful synergy.
The poster released alongside it provided hints about the musical world of [WE GO UP]. Objects such as a skyline, a phone booth and a fire hydrant created a rough yet sophisticated atmosphere, and the neon colors intersecting with grainy black-and-white tones amplified a restrained yet glamorous mood, heightening curiosity about the concept they will newly present.
BABYMONSTER's mini album 2nd [WE GO UP] will be released at 1 p.m. on Oct. 10. The title track of the same name, "WE GO UP," is a hip-hop-based song that carries intense energy and expresses an ambition to soar higher. In addition, tracks of diverse genres such as the impactful "PSYCHO", the hip-hop-tinged slow song "SUPA DUPA LUV", and the country dance track "WILD" are expected to capture the hearts of music fans.
