Singer-songwriter Yu Hae-jun's signature song "Thank you" is returning to the public once again.
Although three years have passed since its release, "Thank you," which has continued to be loved for offering comfort to those who are struggling and tired, is now being reborn as an "AI animated music video."
Yu Hae-jun's agency, Cheong Entertainment, joined hands with AI-based animation specialist Studio Chik (CEO Park Ji-seul) to produce a music video that visualizes the sentiment of "Thank you."
The video will be released simultaneously on YouTube and various music platforms, offering a new emotional experience where music and visuals come together.
The music video's story follows a couple who met and fell in love in their youth, who after marriage overcome numerous trials together and ultimately find happiness. Beyond a simple love story, it depicts the joys and sorrows of life that anyone can relate to.
Yu Hae-jun said of the project, "When this song was first released many people empathized with it, but through this music video we were able to express that feeling more deeply and richly. I hope many people watch the video and it becomes an opportunity to say 'thank you' to one another."
A Cheong Entertainment representative said, "Through the meeting of technology and art we wanted to deliver the message of the music more vividly," and added, "We will continue to showcase new forms of musical content through various attempts."
