"Best Friend Note - 4-person table" guest Ki Eun-se clarified misunderstandings about herself.
On the 22nd episode of Channel A's "Best Friend Note - 4-person table," Ki Eun-se appeared.
Park Kyung-rim said of Ki Eun-se, "I thought you probably grew up like a greenhouse flower, like the youngest daughter of a rich family," and Ki Eun-se said, "The me I see and the me the public sees are so different," adding, "They think I married someone wealthy, and even seeing me live alone now they assume it's thanks to that person's wealth," sharing the hurt of being viewed through colored glasses and saying, "I've never had someone else's things. My current life is something I built myself. The same goes for my parents," leaving a cutting remark.
In fact, Ki Eun-se is a first-generation influencer. Shin Da-eun also said, "One of the misunderstandings about older sister is that many people belittle her by saying her efforts look easy," and added, "But she works all day. She's one of the people I know who lives really diligently."
Regarding the major changes in her current life, she said, "Previously, if I wasn't prepared as an independent agent, now the difference is that I have gained the ability to run my life autonomously," and said, "In my 20s I was never alone; I was lonely so someone was always there, to the point of saying 'stay the night.' Now I can enjoy being alone. I still like people, but I learned that solitary time can be enjoyable."
Asked about financial ease, Ki Eun-se said, "If I had only acted, I would be crying every day," and added, "As an influencer I made money, but working also makes me happy." Ki Eun-se said, "The elders who said you have to suffer in your 20s — I understand what they meant," and shared her conviction: "Countless failures are the reason I can be faithful to and grateful for my current life. They were the foundation that made me stand up again."
On the h episode, Ki Eun-se married a Korean-American businessman 12 years her senior in 2012 but announced her divorce in 2023.
