Mnet's Show Me the Money 12 revealed four producer teams.
Mnet said today (23rd) that ZICO·Crush, GRAY (Gray)·Loco, Jaytong·Heoky Shibaseki, and Lil Moshpit·Park Jae-beom have joined the Show Me the Money 12 producer lineup.
First, the first producer lineup of ZICO and Crush was revealed. ZICO, the head of KOZ Entertainment who led the group Boynextdoor and has shown an irreplaceable presence with numerous hit songs, and Crush, who has established himself as a representative artist of Korean R&B and hip-hop, receiving both public love and critical acclaim, have come together as one team. The meeting of the two, who have built their own realms crossing genres from hip-hop to K-pop and from R&B to electronic, raises expectations for the new season.
The second revealed team paired singer-producer GRAY (Gray), who produced hip-hop hits such as "MOMMAE" and "We Are" based on a wide musical spectrum, with Loco, who reaffirmed his position with solid completeness and hip sensibility through his recent third full-length album. Gray, the producer who led the final win on Show Me the Money 5 and an undisputed chart powerhouse, and Loco, the inaugural Show Me the Money winner, draw attention as a combination of two artists who led hip-hop's heyday with trendy and refined sensibilities.
Next, Jaytong, who has been recognized by rappers for steadfastly keeping his color as a rapper representing Busan, and the versatile artist Heoky Shibaseki, a member of bands Numnum and Hyodo & Bass who has also worked with artists like E Sens and BeWhy and is active as a hip-hop producer, make their first appearance as Show Me the Money producers. The two, who have built a unique position in the hip-hop scene with raw music and lyrics, previously appeared last year on the TVING original entertainment show Rap: Public as a contestant and as a producer, respectively, which raises expectations for their new activities on Show Me the Money 12.
Finally, Lil Moshpit and Park Jae-beom joined the Show Me the Money 12 producer lineup. Producer Lil Moshpit, who has broadened the horizons of Korean hip-hop with trendy and highly finished sounds, and Park Jae-beom, the "hip-hop scene's icon," who has been active across the board with continuous releases and global activities and recently participated directly in producing an idol group, create heightened expectations just by their pairing. The combination of the two artists, who have led the development of the Korean hip-hop scene with irreplaceable influence and impact, raises anticipation for the unique chemistry they will show as producers.
