At the celebrity screening for The Unavoidable, Lee Min-jung and Hyun Bin each attended to cheer on their spouse, drawing attention.
Recently, actors Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin performed their first on-screen married couple roles in the film The Unavoidable. Lee Byung-hun said of his first collaboration with Son Ye-jin, "Ye-jin is an old friend of my wife (actor Lee Min-jung). They often eat together and play golf even as a married couple," adding, "So it didn't feel like our first time working together. Because the process of getting to know each other was skipped, we were actually able to shoot more comfortably," he said.
The film The Unavoidable tells the story of Mansu (played by Lee Byung-hun), a salaryman who had been living a stable life to the point of feeling "he had achieved everything," who suddenly gets fired and jumps into the reemployment battle to protect his family and home. Director Park Chan-wook takes the helm, promising a weighty dose of realist empathy.
Meanwhile, today the 22nd, the celebrity screening held at Yongsan CGV in Seoul drew attention when actors Hyun Bin and Lee Min-jung made surprise appearances.
Hyun Bin attended to support his wife Son Ye-jin, and Lee Min-jung was there to encourage her husband Lee Byung-hun. On the screening's red carpet the two posed with bright smiles, creating a warm atmosphere.
