The amount of congratulatory money at Kim Jong-kook's wedding drew renewed attention on Running Man.
On the Sept. 21 broadcast of SBS entertainment program Running Man, Kim Jong-kook's wedding was mentioned.
Once known as the entertainment industry's leading "old bachelor," Kim Jong-kook has now opened the second act of his life as the head of a household, and postscript stories kept coming like a magic pot.
Among them, talk about the congratulatory money continued. It was said that Choi Daniel and Yang Se-chan gave a lot. The overly generous younger brothers expressed gratitude for the love. In the actual waiting room someone even said, "Are you crazy, why did you give so much?" The younger brothers showed a warm appearance, saying, "It's the thought that counts."
Then Yoo Jae-suk also seemed to have given a lot, saying, "They asked me if I gave a lot to them," and "Seok-jin hyung politely thanked him, saying, 'Oh, hyung, thank you.'" Kim Jong-kook was moved by Yoo Jae-suk, who had done MC duties and also gave a lot, saying, "Ji Seok-jin hyung also gave a lot."
Ji Seok-jin said, "The largest amount I've ever given as congratulatory money was for Kim Jong-kook," and when Kim Jong-kook said, "I was also surprised by you, hyung, but these guys (Choi Daniel, Yang Se-chan) gave so much," Ji Seok-jin burst out laughing and asked the two, "How much did you guys overdo it by?" It was talk possible because they are close.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook married a non-celebrity woman on Sept. 5. In a previous broadcast, when curiosity was raised about Kim Jong-kook with comments like "Did he film furniture on My Ugly Duckling?", Kim Jong-kook declared, "I didn't film it." Yoo Jae-suk asked, "Are you moving to Same Bed, Different Dreams or won't Kim Jong-kook appear?" and Kim Jong-kook drew a line and made people laugh by saying, "Home is home, work is work, I won't appear."
