Eun-ae appeared on the June 20 broadcast of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "The Mantis: Original Sin" in episode 6 as Park Sun-young, the mother of Kang Yeon-jung in the story. She realistically portrayed a character staying in a nursing hospital with alcohol-related dementia and various ailments that had collapsed her memory and mind, raising the tension of the drama.
On that broadcast, Cha Soo-yeol (Jang Dong-yoon) and Na-hee (Lee El) and the investigative team identified Kang Yeon-jung as the suspect in the serial murder case and later visited the nursing hospital where his mother was. When Cha Soo-yeol (Jang Dong-yoon) asked about his son's whereabouts there, Kang Yeon-jung's mother, with a blank expression, uttered the ominous words, "Our son. He must run away. "The Mantis: Original Sin" is a thriller drama that deals with a story that unfolds as copycat crimes similar to past serial murders occur again. In the drama, Go Hyun-jung plays Jung I-shin, a serial killer with "a reason" who killed five men who repeatedly committed domestic violence, drawing heated attention even before the broadcast.
