Jeong Il-woo and Jeong In-seon finally joined hands.
The 14th episode of the KBS 2TV weekend drama Our Golden Days (directed by Kim Hyung-seok / written by So Hyun-kyung / produced by Studio Coming Soon, Studio Bom, Monster Union), which aired at 8 p.m. on the 21st, saw Lee Ji-hyeok (played by Jeong Il-woo) and Ji Eun-o (played by Jeong In-seon) decide to go into business together after repeated conflicts and misunderstandings. The episode recorded a nationwide household rating of 16.2% (Nielsen Korea), captivating viewers with an exciting development.
In the episode, Eun-o firmly rejected Ji-hyeok's offer to go into business together. Ji-hyeok tried to persuade her by emphasizing the advantages they would gain by working together, but Eun-o's resolve did not waver. The two ended up in an argument and, after another conflict, their relationship became awkward.
Later, Eun-o appeared dressed up for a date with Park Seong-jae (played by Yoon Hyun-min). She subtly expressed her gratitude while enjoying a nice meal with Seong-jae. The two enjoyed a relaxed, everyday, realistic date, taking a leisurely walk, doing shooting practice and watching a movie. Thanks to Seong-jae's efforts, Eun-o's mood improved and the two grew closer, which made Ji-hyeok, who watched them, show signs of jealousy.
Ji-hyeok showed up at the building materials exhibition where Eun-o had a meeting, approaching her naturally as if by chance. He accompanied her to client meetings to learn about the materials, and toured the exhibition with Eun-o, broadening his knowledge of interiors. Eun-o began to soften as she saw how he enjoyed the work itself. On their way back to the café, Ji-hyeok hid his curiosity about Eun-o and Seong-jae's relationship and continued an awkward conversation.
Meanwhile, Lee Su-bin (played by Shin Soo-hyun), who had confessed to Seong-jae and been rejected, could not give up and confessed again. Troubled by Su-bin's persistent behavior, Seong-jae eventually revealed that he had been married before, and a shocked Su-bin told him, "Divorced men are not candidates for my life," giving up on him.
Also, Lee Ji-wan (played by Son Sang-yeon) returned as Park Young-ra's (played by Park Jung-yeon) bodyguard and closely protected her. In the process, he discovered that Young-ra was secretly drawing webtoons without her mother Go Seong-hee (played by Lee Tae-ran) knowing, and the two came to share a new secret in their relationship.
Meanwhile, Kim Da-jeong (played by Kim Hee-jung) noticed that Ji-hyeok's suitcase had disappeared and, while questioning Ji-wan, learned that Ji-hyeok had returned. This led Da-jeong to clash again with Sang-cheol (played by Cheon Ho-jin), who knew the truth and hid it. Seeing Ji-hyeok act nonchalantly after leaving scars on him, Sang-cheol poured out his suppressed emotions, and Da-jeong, while defending her son, could not hide her shock.
At the end of the broadcast, Eun-o confided in Seong-hee about her feelings and family circumstances and received comfort. Later, Eun-o discovered Ji Kang-o (played by Yang Hyuk) working miserably at a hunting bar and Jung Soon-hee (played by Kim Jung-young) secretly watching him and crying, which filled her with guilt. In the end, Eun-o accepted Ji-hyeok's proposal and began the partnership in earnest.
