Spider-Man Tom Holland injured in on-set fall → rushed to hospital…fans worldwide shocked
Hollywood actor Tom Holland was injured during filming of his next film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" and was rushed to the hospital.
The U.K. Daily Mail reported on the 22nd (local time) that "Tom Holland fell during a stunt at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in Watford, England, hitting his head," and "was later taken to a hospital by ambulance and diagnosed with a concussion." The production team decided to suspend filming entirely for several weeks to allow him to recover.
Holland's father Dominic said directly at a charity dinner in Mayfair, London, that "my son will not be able to return to filming for the time being," and his partner Zendaya was reportedly at the scene with him, expressing concern.
The accident occurred during filming of the fourth installment of the Spider-Man series. The film's release date had already been pushed back once to Jul. 31, 2026, raising the possibility that this injury could cause further delays.
In particular, Tom Holland has earned special affection from Korean fans as Spider-Man. In the past, he created a buzz by saying in a video greeting on tvN's You Quiz on the Block, "Hi ajigi-nim! I am Tom Holland," leaving a playful line to Yoo Jae-suk saying "let's join the MCU together."
Korean netizens were also deeply shocked by the news. Online, supportive messages poured in such as "I can't believe Spider-Man really got hurt" and "Get well soon, Tom Holland."
