At the time, a Hyun Bin representative told OSEN, "The photo circulating as a family photo is a fake photo made with AI. There's nothing to be called an official position. However, to prevent confusion, the agency is having the fake photos circulating online deleted through legal procedures." A Son Ye-jin representative also told OSEN, "As you know, Son Ye-jin has never revealed photos of her child. Nevertheless, because fans' affection for Son Ye-jin and her family is so strong, since news of the marriage was known there have been ongoing incidents of fabricated photos of a hypothetical child circulating. In the case of overseas accounts, besides reporting or requesting deletion, it is difficult to take practical measures such as suspending accounts. However, because the actions are by well-meaning fans, when needed the agency responds by notifying via the official agency website or accounts that the photos are not real."
Meanwhile, Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin married in 2022 and welcomed a son in November of that year.
