Former short track national team skater Kim Dong-sung has obtained a short track coaching license.
Kim Dong-sung's wife, In Min-jung, posted a photo of Kim's short track license on her social media account on the 21st with the message "good job." A photo of him wearing a safety helmet and working at a construction site was also uploaded.
Kim Dong-sung is known to have prepared for the coaching license while working at a construction site with his wife, In Min-jung. In earlier said, "2025 coaching clinic. Cheering on Kim Dong-sung, attending a clinic for the first time in about eight years. Run, run for the development of short track."
Kim Dong-sung is a leading short track star for Korea who won gold in the men's 1,000 meters and silver in the 5,000-meter relay at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. He married a non-celebrity woman in 2004 and had one son and one daughter, but divorced in 2018 and later remarried In Min-jung.
