The global band-making survival show "Steal Heart Club" unveiled its main poster in a surprise release and has begun full preparations for its launch.
Mnet's "Steal Heart Club (STEAL HEART CLUB)," which premieres Oct. 21 at 10 p.m., is a global band survival show in which individual contestants in various positions such as guitar, drums, bass, vocals and keyboard gather to challenge themselves to form the "final headliner band." Expectations are building around the contestants' journeys as they complete passionate stages of youth armed with star power and musical authenticity.
The main poster released today (22nd) captures the program's concept and direction succinctly and seizes attention. It conveys raw, rough yet pure energy while also adding a refreshing mood, powerfully imprinting the concept of a "youth band." In particular, a striking copy at the bottom of the poster reads "Musicians who will steal your heart with raw (LIVE) performances are coming," foreshadowing the fiery stages passionate young people will deliver to join bands.
The four-person director lineup that will accompany the contestants' growth also draws attention. Band music icon Jung Yong-hwa, versatile musician Lee Jang-won, genre-crossing singer-songwriter Sunwoo Jung-a, and vocalist with a distinctive presence Ha Sung-woon have joined. Actor Moon Ga-young will participate as an MC acting as the "band curator," completing the dazzling lineup.
The production team said, "The contestants' unpolished, raw energy will meet the fiery supporters Jung Yong-hwa, Lee Jang-won, Sunwoo Jung-a and Ha Sung-woon and show the process of growing into a band that represents this era," and added, "We will deliver the thrilling energy of live performances and the emotional impact of refreshing band sounds to viewers."
Meanwhile, Mnet's "Steal Heart Club" will mark the birth of a new survival show aimed at global band fandoms, beginning with its first broadcast on Oct. 21.
