A six-person poster featuring actors Ha Seung-ri, Hyun-woo, Park Eun-hye, Ryu Jin, Hwang Dong-ju and Gong Jung-hwan confronting the absurd story of "one mother and three fathers" has been released.
The new KBS 1TV daily drama set to premiere in October, Marri and the Unusual Dads (directed by Seo Yong-soo / written by Kim Hong-joo / produced by LI Entertainment, Monster Union) is a drama about Marri's chaotic search for her father, and the birth of an unusual family whose bonds are stronger than blood and more persistent than sperm.
Ha Seung-ri and Hyun-woo play medical school senior and junior who become lovers, Kang Marri and Lee Kang-se, respectively. Actress Park Eun-hye plays Marri's mother Joo Shi-ra, and Ryu Jin, Hwang Dong-ju and Gong Jung-hwan play Marri's father candidates Lee Poong-joo, Kang Min-bo and Jin Ki-sik, respectively.
The six-person poster released today (22nd) contains different looks from Ha Seung-ri, Hyun-woo, Park Eun-hye, Ryu Jin, Hwang Dong-ju and Gong Jung-hwan, further piquing curiosity about the show. Ha Seung-ri's bewildered expression, contrasted by the gentle smiles of Hyun-woo and Park Eun-hye, and the three father candidates Ryu Jin, Hwang Dong-ju and Gong Jung-hwan appearing playfully as if rushing toward Ha Seung-ri are striking.
In the drama, Kang Marri and Lee Kang-se grow deeper into a romantic relationship, but along the way they face an unbelievable fact and fall into trial. In the poster, the multiple question marks surrounding Marri hint at the confusion she will experience. Kang-se, looking at her with his arms folded, shows he will be a reliable support as both lover and life senior. Expectations are building among prospective viewers for the love story that will go through changes and twists in the relationship between the two.
Meanwhile, Park Eun-hye vividly portrays the carefree but bright Joo Shi-ra with a relaxed smile. Beside her, Ryu Jin, Hwang Dong-ju and Gong Jung-hwan attract attention with their tangled, comic poses.
