Kim Jong-kook showed a markedly changed appearance along with news that he moved into his newlywed home on Running Man.
On the March 21 broadcast of SBS variety show Running Man, the changed Kim Jong-kook drew attention.
The producers introduced it as "Gguk holding back the congratulatory delegation," mentioning that Kim Jong-kook usually dislikes birthday celebrations and saying, "Even so, because it is a good day, the production team prepared a wedding celebration party with every possible fuss they could muster," and "a mission to exclude cringey parts of the celebration party." Kim Jong-kook said, "Don't do it, seriously," but the atmosphere had already been swept away.
During a mission, Kim Jong-kook successfully won a cute stuffed toy. He said, "It's so cute," and everyone was surprised, saying, "Jong-kook has changed a lot," and Ji Seok-jin marveled, "Love makes a person change like this. It's the power of love."
Also that day, Kim Jong-kook showed a more generous side after marriage. Several changed behaviors were repeatedly captured. Kim Jong-kook, who used to wear only black, surprised everyone by coming out in a white T-shirt, and he also showed interest in drugstore cosmetics. Yoo Jae-seok asked, "Are you taking an interest in cosmetics too? Are you going to buy them for your wife?" and Kim Jong-kook said, "We moved into the new home, didn't we? There are things we need."
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook reportedly recently purchased a luxury villa in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, for 6.2 billion won in full cash and set up a new household with his wife.
