(Continuing from interview 1) Actress Kim Goeun spoke about her chemistry with Kim Gun-woo, who appears as Kim Sang-hak in You and Everything Else.
On the morning of the 22nd, an interview with You and Everything Else lead actress Kim Goeun was held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
You and Everything Else is the story that faces all the times of two friends who at every moment love and admire each other most, and also feel jealousy and hate and become entangled over a lifetime: Eun-jung (played by Kim Goeun) and Sang-yeon (played by Park Ji-hyun).
In particular, Eun-jung and Sang-yeon, who have continued a deep bond since their teenage years, sometimes clash over their senior in the university photography club, Kim Sang-hak (played by Kim Gun-woo). In response, some joked, "Can't Eun-jung and Sang-yeon meet without Kim Sang-hak?" When mentioning such reactions, Kim Goeun quipped, "Because they're heterosexual, I guess.."
She said, "Isn't Sang-hak just too good? Even in his 30s, I thought, 'Eun-jung should meet a man like that.' He seemed like a rare stable type of person. There is also a narrative with Sang-yeon, but I wonder if Eun-jung wasn't attracted to stability. Since Sang-yeon is extremely anxious type, maybe that's why." She added, "When I stepped out of the work and thought realistically, I often thought Sang-hak is just too much of a stable person. I thought if you met Sang-hak you could live healthily. That's my personal thought," she said frankly.
When asked about her chemistry with Kim Gun-woo, who plays Kim Sang-hak, Kim Goeun said, "He's two grades below me. He managed things on set. 'When someone is in their second year, you couldn't even look them in the eye in our day,' 'the world has gotten better,'" she joked, drawing laughter. This is because Kim Goeun and Kim Gun-woo graduated from the Acting Department of the Korea National University of Arts in the classes of '10 and '12, respectively.
She added, "In reality, actor Gun-woo has a very gentle personality and is extremely kind. (Park) Ji-hyun and I joke around a lot, but he accepted it all like a broad-minded person. I thought he was close to the character Sang-hak." (Continued in interview 3.)
