'MZ wannabe iKON' IVE's Liz raised expectations for her performance at the '80s Seoul Music Festival.
Liz appeared on the MBC variety program 'How Do You Play?'s '80s Seoul Music Festival' special, which aired on the 20th, and ahead of the finals she selected her contest song through a pre-event.
That day Liz attracted attention by choosing Lee Ji-yeon's "Wind, Please Stop" as her contest song. As soon as the song was revealed, the performers' warm reactions continued, and they praised Liz's fresh and soft tone and her synchronicity with Lee Ji-yeon, saying, "It's really similar, you can picture how the stage will be. The tone suits it so well," expressing anticipation for Liz's youthful stage. In response, Liz replied, "I'm happy because the reaction is good," continuing the warm atmosphere.
Liz grew closer to the other performers and added more energy. She showed her unique bouncy, cute charm by empathizing with the performers' stories and giving witty reactions, and she emitted pleasant energy that brought smiles to viewers.
While keeping the cheerful atmosphere, the performers showed interest in Park Myung-soo's graying back hair and touched it, which piqued Liz's curiosity as well, and she delivered a witty line, "It feels like dog fur," prompting laughter on set.
At the end of the broadcast, Liz's appearance on the day of the festival finals was revealed. While checking her order and appearing both nervous and composed, attention is focused on the final stage to see how Liz will reinterpret "Wind, Please Stop" with what kind of color and show another charm.
Meanwhile, IVE, the group Liz belongs to, is set to kick off their second world tour by holding their world tour IVE World Tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM' for three days from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 at Seoul KSPO DOME (formerly Olympic Gymnastics Arena).
