Actor Heo Nam-jun shared his thoughts on working with IU in a music video.
On the 20th, a video titled "What is first love?" was posted on the YouTube channel "Yoo Yeon-seok's 'Weekend Yeon-seok Play'." As a guest, actor Heo Nam-jun grants appeared and talked.
That day Heo Nam-jun said about recently starring as the male lead in IU's "Never Ending Story" music video, "First of all, this is the biggest credit of my life. I still don't have a lot of recognition, and I'm not the kind of actor who, like senior actors, gets recognized everywhere," he said, revealing his excitement.
Heo Nam-jun recalled when he received the offer, saying, "When the offer first came, I thought, 'IU knows I exist in this world. I'm successful. I just have to work hard at what I do,'" which made people laugh.
He continued, "Because when I was young I really liked her. I liked her songs a lot," adding, "My hands trembled as I greeted her, and I couldn't speak. Even when we met it just felt like a dream," and emphasized, "We're the same age, so I couldn't let it go. That kind of thing should not happen."
Yoo Yeon-seok asked, "Don't people who are the same age speak more casually?" and Heo Nam-jun replied, "She didn't feel like a friend. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable, so I thought about what to say about four times before speaking."
Heo Nam-jun said, "I was truly so happy," and added, "I got more messages than ever in my life. I got more messages than when I won a rookie award. They were all the same sentence: 'You've made it.' My parents were also the happiest," which brought laughter.
