Actress Park Won-sook shared her secrets for maintaining a youthful appearance.
On the 19th, a video titled "[The day after tomorrow 80, Park Won-sook's pride extravaganza] shopping pride, cosmetics pride, supplements pride" was uploaded to the "Park Won-sook Channel."
That day Park Won-sook said, "The day after tomorrow I'm 80. Now 77? 76? Not far off," adding, "This is an hourglass. When I look at the hourglass I get so anxious and I think I should love the remaining time well. 100? Many people say 'these days it's 120,' but even if you live to 120. If you're 120 with a nose full of piercings, in a wheelchair and leaning on a cane, what's the point if you live to 120 or 150. Rather than that, time is endlessly passing even now, isn't it? When I look at it like this I don't just get anxious, I think I should live well and not waste time carelessly." she said, expressing candid thoughts about the passage of time.
She said, "But really, as I age I hear that a lot. 'You look so young? What exercise do you do? What do you eat? What supplements do you take? What medicine do you take? You really look young,' and it's flattering. I do breathing exercises, eat well and sleep well. But those things probably help. I keep them here. Actually there are propolis, spirulina and various other things in here. There are many kinds of red ginseng too," as she revealed a box full of medicines.
She continued, "This is gongjindan. Blood pressure medicine, cholesterol medicine. These are the two I take regularly. This is argan oil. They say to spray this on your hair. Put it on your hands too. There are so many things to do. This is good for the eyes. They say to take one of these a day; it's a supplement for macular degeneration. I forgot and then took it again. At first I took them diligently but then I thought I couldn't keep it up, my body would burst, so I took them intermittently. I take propolis regularly. But when I rotate them I forget. Then I sometimes throw away precious things, but I don't throw away propolis or honey," she confessed.
The producers who saw this said, "You'd be full just from the medicine," surprised, and Park Won-sook joked, "Exactly. I can't take them all," adding, "My manager says, 'Even when you pass away they'll never know what kind of addiction you had. It's drug addiction,'" she quipped.
In particular, Park Won-sook pointed to cosmetics as another secret to her care routine. She said, "I think applying it clearly has an effect. Tightening and firming the skin cells is partly about wrinkles and such that you're born with. The product is a cosmetic derived from stem cells for which I'm an exclusive model. It's a bit expensive. I thought, 'Even if it's expensive, rather than pulling and tightening later I'll do this,' so at night I wash my face thoroughly and apply it liberally and sleep. When I wake up in the morning and won't put on makeup to go out, I apply it generously again. I apply it generously for about a week. Almost like having surgery. 'Surgery costs so much, let's use this,' and I apply it generously. So when I chase cosmetics that remove fine lines or dark spots, this is my cosmetic," she said with satisfaction.
Later Park Won-sook removed her makeup and appeared bare-faced. She said, "This is really bare-faced. Is it necessary to go this far? Won't people who were going to buy cosmetics not buy them now?" adding, "But I didn't apply anything. This is what I apply. It's this small. But since I don't use the entire dropper at once, I conserve it and use this. If I had opened the box fresh, I would use one bottle a day. It's really precious, but I don't use it for other things; I apply this generously," she explained.
The cosmetic costs about 1.5 million won for a box of 14 items at the regular price. Even so, Park Won-sook said, "You have to think of it as 100,000 won or 200,000 won when you apply it. Later you won't spend tens of millions or hundreds of millions on surgery or tightening; doing this naturally helps the cells I have find their place and regain youth. I used one bottle today, right? I wash my face at night, clean it, and apply this generously. If I have to wear makeup and go out in the morning, I apply it the night before. I've used more than half of it already. In any case, I use one bottle a day," she said.
When someone praised, "Your skin is glowing," she replied, "That's because even water adds moisture. But this isn't just moisture; since it's from stem cells, when you do it, what differs the next morning is a slightly brighter, almost translucent look. That's definitely different, even after just one application," she said with satisfaction.
