JYP Entertainment boy group NEXZ embroidered the "2025 TMA" with energy full of thrills.
NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hui, Yuki) won the global hot trend institutional sector at the "2025 The Fact Music Awards" (2025 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS, 2025 TMA), held on 20th at the Macau Outdoor Performance Venue. After winning the hottest award at the same ceremony last year, they lifted the trophy for two consecutive years and said, "Last year we received our first award as NEXZ at The Fact Music Awards, and this year we are honored and grateful to receive another great award. We thank the many people who supported us, and especially our NEX2Y, we really love you. And happy birthday to our Yuki, who has a birthday today!" expressing great joy and gratitude.
True to a group that receives praise of "slaying" at every stage, they thrilled the venue under the attention of global fans. They performed the title track of their mini album 2 released in April, "O-RLY?" (O really?), and the album track "Simmer," boasting fantastic dance lines and synchronized choreography, reaffirming their presence as a "performance hotspot rookie." Since debuting in May 2024, the audience responded with enthusiastic cheers to their stage presence as they steadily nurtured their prospects as a "global act" while showcasing various abilities.
This year NEXZ is continuing their rise in global popularity through activities in many fields. With their mini album 2 "O-RLY?" released in April, they gave music fans a thrill, and in May they were recognized for their rookie activities by winning the newcomer award at ASEA 2025. In June they made their first appearance on Japan's representative music program Music Station (M-SUTE), widely promoting the group's appeal, and in August they completed their first solo tour in Japan, "NEXZ LIVE TOUR 2025 "One Bite"", a series of 18 performances across 15 Japanese cities, achieving entry into Tokyo Budokan about one year after their official debut in Japan.
On Oct. 25–26 they will hold the special concert "NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT" for two days at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul
