WJSN's Dayoung confessed to the aftereffects of dieting.
On the 20th, a new video titled "There is no way to beat these hot girls who trained hard" was released on the YouTube channel Yubin's Spotlight Riot. As guests, WJSN's Dayoung and Lee Chaeyeon grants and talked.
That day Yubin had prepared chamomile tea and madeleines for Dayoung and Chaeyeon, but Dayoung said, "Unfortunately I have a pre-recording tomorrow. I have a personal rule not to eat flour today. My manager bought me a banana today." Yubin and Chaeyeon asked, "Are you on a diet?" and Dayoung added, "I just have to endure it for today."
Yubin also asked, "We all have experience in group activities. What was the hardest part?" and Dayoung immediately answered, "Dieting." Dayoung said, "Because it doesn't go the way I want, members who don't need to diet are like a buffet. For us it was like a festival of foods from around the world: on one side someone was eating hot pot, on another salad, on another pasta and pizza, and on another gukbap."
Yubin also asked, "People are usually curious about girl groups' dieting, right? What diet worked but you never want to do again? And what's the healthiest way to diet?"
Chaeyeon said, "When I was young, starvation was the best. I did the Hollywood 24-hour." She said, "I did that and fainted a lot. For 24 hours I only drank a cleanser juice. It's supposed to be done for two days, but I split it into three days. I always fainted on the third day."
Dayoung also said, "I have an episode. It was around when I was 20. I wanted to diet so hard that I turned to Western medicine. That's not recommended for people who desperately need professional help or whose doctors recommend it; for people like us who want to diet for cosmetic reasons, I don't recommend it."
Dayoung said, "(When you take the pills) your head spins. You get low blood pressure. I fainted for five seconds after getting out of bed. I remember getting out of bed and walking, but when I opened my eyes I was on the floor. I almost hit my head and might not have been here."
