Lee Young-ae is appalled by Kim Young-kwang's shocking true nature.
The 2nd episode of KBS2 weekend miniseries Walking On Thin Ice (written by Jeon Young-shin, directed by Song Hyun-wook, produced by Baram Pictures, Slingshot Studio), airing at 9:20 p.m. on the 21st, puts Kang Eun-su (Lee Young-ae) and Lee Kyung (Kim Young-kwang), who have officially started a partnership, at risk of being discovered by the police.
Earlier, Eun-su got hold of the drug bag left behind by the drug trafficking organization Phantom, and learned that her daughter Su-a (Kim Si-a)'s after-school art teacher is the mysterious club MD Lee Kyung. Desperate to raise medical bills, Eun-su ultimately proposed a partnership to Lee Kyung, piquing viewers' interest.
In stills released ahead of the 2nd episode, Eun-su is horrified at another side of Lee Kyung enjoying a party with VIP guests. Viewers' curiosity is focused on whether Eun-su, having confirmed Lee Kyung's beyond-imagination true nature, will continue the perilous partnership and how her emotions will change.
Meanwhile, Jang Tae-gu (Park Yong-woo), head of the drug investigation team at Gwangnam Police Station, spots an important clue related to the drug bag Phantom lost while patrolling near the club. He raids the club where Lee Kyung is with his team, and Eun-su fights desperately to save Lee Kyung, who faces arrest. Attention is on whether Eun-su can use her wits to protect her partner.
In particular, from the first day of their partnership, Lee Young-ae's desperation in the face of crisis, Kim Young-kwang's eyes full of desire, and Park Yong-woo's determination to catch them at all costs—the three contrasting faces forecast dramatic tension and raise anticipation for the broadcast.
