Actor Kang Kyung-hun's "son jewelry box" has added Kim Hyun-wook.
Kang Kyung-hun gave a passionate performance as Kang Mi-ran in the KBS2 daily drama Queen's House (writer Kim Min-ju, directors Hong Eun-mi and Hong Seok-gu), which ended on the 19th.
Queen's House is a revenge drama about reclaiming life that unfolds after a woman who firmly believed she led a perfect life has her life stolen from her. Directors Hong Seok-gu, who has shown delicate direction in many works such as Beauty and the Pure Man, Oh! In Queen's House, which earned much love including a peak rating of 11.9% (episode 97), Kang Kyung-hun gave a passionate performance as YL Group executive Kang Mi-ran, leading the story with gripping interest as she clashed with her niece Kang Jae-in (Ham Eun-jung) over an unexpected incident. In the latter part, she regretted her past and choices, transformed into an ally, boosted the refreshing developments, and led the story to a happy ending.
Kang Kyung-hun, who has mainly played "mother" roles in recent works, portrayed Kang Mi-ran in Queen's House, the biological mother of Kang Seung-woo (Kim Hyun-wook) who cannot be called his mother, showing another side of maternal love. Kang Kyung-hun cited the scene where she cried after being called "mom" as the most impressive, saying, I thought it was a big deal even when reading the script, and sure enough when I watched the monitor there was a shot of tears falling onto a hand. That scene left a strong impression because the emotion came naturally rather than from deliberate effort.
Kang Kyung-hun described the maternal love for Kang Seung-woo as "unrequited love." She said, Kang Mi-ran's confident demeanor is really attractive, but she becomes foolish only in front of Kang Seung-woo.
