Singer Lee Seung-gi broke his long silence.
On the 21st, Lee Seung-gi posted a photo showing a glow stick bearing the phrases "너만보여 이승기" and "영원한 원픽 이승기" along with the caption "Airen♥."
It has been a long time since Lee Seung-gi posted a photo through his social media account. It is also notable because it is his first post since the recent verbal exchange between MC Mong and his wife Lee Da-in. However, Lee Seung-gi did not take either MC Mong's side or Lee Da-in's side and showed only affection for his fans.
The verbal exchange between MC Mong and Lee Da-in is as follows. MC Mong, who said in July that he suffered from severe depression, underwent one surgery and had worsening health that made it difficult to continue music and decided to study abroad, posted on his social media account on the 6th a photo taken with Lee Seung-gi, Lee Da-in and Lee Yu-bi.

This was important evidence that could dispel misunderstandings because it showed the photo was taken long before Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in said they would cut ties with the in-laws. Along with that, Lee Da-in criticized MC Mong's intent in posting the photo, saying, "I really can't understand it."
After seeing Lee Da-in's post, MC Mong said, "Mind your business," directly referring to Lee Seung-gi and his wife's severing of ties with their in-laws and asked, "Would I do something like abandon my family like you?" Only Lee Seung-gi, caught between MC Mong and Lee Da-in's exchange, was left in a difficult position. He has been close with MC Mong since the "1 Night 2 Days" era and is a colleague at the same agency, and because Lee Da-in is his wife, he could not readily take either side, so he remained silent.
