'Sikgaek Heo Young-man's Baekban Journey' Tae Jin-ah updated on his wife, who has been battling illness for six years.
On the 21st broadcast of TV Chosun's 'Sikgaek Heo Young-man's Baekban Journey' (hereinafter 'Baekban Journey'), Tae Jin-ah appeared as a guest.
On the day, Heo Young-man asked, "I heard your wife has been ill for a long time." Tae Jin-ah said, "My wife has been suffering from dementia for six years. But dementia is the worst disease in this world," he lamented.
Earlier, Tae Jin-ah appeared on 'Joseon's love general' and revealed that he steadfastly stayed by his wife's side as she battled dementia.
Tae Jin-ah said, "Once, my wife got up to go to the bathroom and fell. She slipped and fractured her arm and was injured. I felt so sorry that she wore a cast for more than a month. After that, when I sleep with my wife in bed, I tie a string to my right hand. If she gets up to go to the bathroom, doesn't the (arm) get pulled? Then I wake up from sleep," he revealed.
He added, "Because so many people supported us like this, thanks to that support the dementia stopped about six months ago. Her mental strength is slowly coming back. I'm very grateful. She's much better," drawing attention.
