Actor Kim Yoo-jung and Kim Do-hoon's dating rumors were quickly cleared up. They did travel together, but they were not dating.
On the 20th, Kim Yoo-jung and Kim Do-hoon were caught up in surprise dating rumors after airport sightings, and both agencies quickly issued statements denying the relationship.
Earlier that day, a verification photo was posted on an online community saying someone saw Kim Do-hoon on a flight to Nha Trang, Vietnam, last May. The poster said the woman next to Kim Do-hoon was actor Kim Yoo-jung, and photos of the two together at the airport were also released.
This led to speculation that the two, who work together on "Dear X," had gone on a couple's trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam. There was also suspicion that photos the two took in Nha Trang were posted as "lovestagram."
The agencies quickly issued statements. First, a representative from Kim Do-hoon's agency Peak J Entertainment told OSEN, "The dating rumors between Kim Do-hoon and Kim Yoo-jung are not true," adding, "The trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam, was a group trip taken with the drama team directors from a recent project, and it was not a trip just for the two of them," conveying the official position.
A representative from Kim Yoo-jung's agency Awesome ENT also told OSEN, "After checking with Kim Yoo-jung, the dating rumors with Kim Do-hoon are not true," and released an official statement saying, "The trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam, was not a trip just for the two of them but a group trip taken together after filming 'Dear X' ended."
They added, "After all drama filming had ended, director Lee Eung-bok, Kim Yoo-jung, actor Kim Do-hoon, and available staff all went on a group trip, but the photos made it look like only the two went," and reiterated, "Their dating rumors are groundless."
With both sides' rapid denials, the dating rumors quickly ended as a brief incident. At the same time, anticipation is growing for the drama "Dear X," in which the two star together.
Meanwhile, the new TVING series "Dear X," in which the two appear together, depicts Baek A-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung), a woman who wears a mask to escape hell and climb to the highest place, and the story of the Xs who were cruelly trampled by her.
