Comedian Hong Hyun-hee revealed her routine for self-care.
On the 19th, a video titled "Actress Hong Hyun-hee's care routine" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Hong Hyun-hee Jasson's Hongsseun TV'.
In the video, Hong Hyun-hee said, "As I get older, I think I respect people who diligently and consistently take care of themselves the most," and "I bought 10 Pilates sessions. Then at 5 or 6 sessions I always either finish up or it just fizzles out, but recently I thought I should exercise more, so I told the Pilates instructor that I had bought the sessions in 2024 but now it's 2025 and I would re-register and attend," she said.
She continued, "Then the instructor suddenly told me, 'Hyun-hee, but looking at you, it seems you don't have much experience finishing things. Six sessions remain. So after you use them all up and experience that, you should feel accomplishment and efficacy yourself, and I won't accept payment.' Hearing the instructor tell me to come quickly and use them up, I looked back on my life," she confessed.
The dermatology clinic was no different. Hong Hyun-hee said, "I impulsively bought sessions wanting to become Song Hye-kyo or Jun Ji-hyun, but then I stopped going."
While receiving skin care, Hong Hyun-hee said, "I even fasted for three days. But on the refeeding day I ate jokbal (braised pig's trotters). Then suddenly something broke out on my face. Don't eat delivery food," she urged.
After skin care, at mealtime Hong Hyun-hee said, "I eat protein before carbohydrates. I always carry three eggs. That gives me much more satiety, so I can eat less. You'll be surprised in March next year. The results of the care will show," she said.
She added, "I've eaten for 40 years, and I hate myself for trying to lose weight in just a few days. Two days ago I was running but my knee hurt so I couldn't continue, and what I realized was that the only time I truly sweat was when I was eating. Seeing myself sweat while eating hot food, I wondered what I've been doing all this time," and she ate diligently.
