The group TWICE, marking their 10th anniversary since debut this year, will release a special album on Oct. 10.
JYP Entertainment on the 19th at 8 p.m. released a 10th-anniversary timetable image on TWICE's official social media channels and announced the special album. According to it, TWICE will present abundant promotions such as a prologue film, online cover, poster, hit song and world tour streaming, and music video teasers, and at 1 p.m. on Oct. 10 will release the special album TEN: The story Goes On.
The prologue film, which opened at 12 a.m. on the 20th, delivered the fun of watching a lively sitcom. The nine members performed bizarre 10th-anniversary talent show acts themed around "10," such as a 10-ton strongman show, crying within 10 seconds, and pressing a buzzer within 10 seconds, drawing laughs from viewers. In the latter part of the video, scenes of failing mission challenges and cheering while holding a trophy followed, highlighting the members' natural charm. TWICE raised global ONCE's expectations for the new special album with humorous content.
They are expanding their momentum in the landmark 10th anniversary year of 2025 and solidifying their stature as a global top girl group. Recently, they participated in the original soundtrack TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG) for the Netflix global animation K-pop Demon Hunters, leading to worldwide success, and Strategy also achieved a successful resurgence in popularity. As proof, both songs set TWICE's personal best positions and career highs on major global charts such as the U.S. Billboard main chart Hot 100, Apple Music, Spotify and the U.K. Official Chart.
In August, they shone as the first K-pop girl group to headline Lollapalooza Chicago, demonstrating explosive presence. Riding that momentum, their sixth world tour, with an innovative structure that opens the venue 360 degrees at each stop
