On the afternoon of the 19th, the MBC variety show Home Alone aired a segment showing Lee Joo-seung taking his Vietnamese sister-in-law and mother out on a date. Lee Joo-seung's older brother recently held a wedding in Korea.
That day Lee Joo-seung bought bread for his sister-in-law and visited his mother's house. Lee Joo-seung's older brother and mother were both gathered, and his Vietnamese sister-in-law greeted Lee Joo-seung. When the sister-in-law's appearance was revealed, Park Na-rae exclaimed, "She is truly beautiful."
Lee Joo-seung said, "Our sister-in-law is Nguyen Thi Minh Thu," adding, "She had a wedding in Vietnam last September and, after a year, had a second wedding in Korea. It was at a place I found. The sister-in-law liked it a lot, so I felt proud. The emcee was Lee Guseong-hwan."
In the studio, Lee Guseong-hwan complained, "I was emceeing this time and had trouble with the full name after the groom's," and Lee Joo-seung explained, "Nguyen is the family name, Thi is a common middle name, and Minh Thu means autumn."
Lee Joo-seung's older brother shared post-wedding memories with his family. He said his father- and mother-in-law visited Korea for the first time for the wedding. He said, "My mother took care of my mother-in-law because she doesn't speak Korean. It was her first time abroad. It was her first time on a plane. She said it was her first time trying Korean food in her life and she enjoyed it," and added, "We went to places featured on social media like Jeju Island, Suwon, Songdo, Hongdae and Sinchon."
Lee Joo-seung's sister-in-law communicated with her mother-in-law in fluent Korean. When Lee Joo-seung prepared to spend time with his mother and sister-in-law in place of his brother, she even helped pick out the mother-in-law's going-out clothes. She was a daughter-in-law as affectionate as a daughter. Lee Joo-seung added, "Whenever she comes to Korea, she stays at my mother's house for more than 10 days."
Lee Joo-seung headed to the Korean Folk Village with his sister-in-law and mother. In the car on the way out, he enjoyed chatting with his sister-in-law. She showed off fluent Korean she had learned in five months.
Lee Joo-seung asked his sister-in-law if his brother treats her well, and she praised him, "I've been with him for three years. We dated for two years, got married in Vietnam, and after a year did it in Korea. He treats me so well. He isn't flirtatious. He doesn't gamble. He is handsome." Listening to the barrage of compliments, Lee Joo-seung fell silent at times.
Lee Joo-seung acted as a one-day guide at the Korean Folk Village for his sister-in-law and mother. He found photo spots around the village and took pictures, creating special memories for his sister-in-law.
Unlike the fatigued Lee Joo-seung from taking photos, his sister-in-law seemed to enjoy the shoot. In front of the camera she posed skillfully, her expressions changing as she showed model-like looks. In the studio, Jun Hyun-moo and Park Na-rae asked, "Is she maybe an influencer?" and admired her height. Lee Joo-seung drew attention by saying, "My brother told me she takes about 500 to 1,000 photos a day."
