"The Seasons-10CM's Ssedam Ssedam" delivered a colorful stage with versatile artists.
On the 19th, the KBS 2TV music talk show "The Seasons-10CM's Ssedam Ssedam" featured (G)I-DLE's Yuqi, 2PM's Jang Woo-young, INFINITE's Kim Sung-kyu, MeloMance's Kim Min-seok, and Jung Se-woon, who filled Friday night with diverse stages and genres.
Singer-songwriter idol Yuqi, known for being "reliable to listen to," delivered a dramatic stage with "Always Remember Us This Way." After seeing the stage, 10cm said, "The artist Yuqi might be divided into before and after 'The Seasons,'" praising her. Yuqi said, "I usually come out with the members, but even coming out alone, 'The Seasons' feels like home," and, "Seeing that I'm not nervous, maybe I was meant to be an artist from birth," receiving cheers from the audience with distinctive confidence.
In her eighth year since debut, Yuqi returned with a new album full of hip-hop vibes. 10cm suggested strong rap names for Yuqi's cute image such as "Maedugi" (short for Mad Yuqi), "MC Woo-ssi," and "Beijing Ganggirl (Gang RG)," and Yuqi chose "Beijing Ganggirl," delivering an old-school atmosphere with the title track "M.O." As an all-rounder, Yuqi changed the mood and performed a duet of "Love Is Six Strings" with 10cm while playing guitar, coloring the scene with her diverse charms.
Making his first appearance on "The Seasons," Jang Woo-young expressed his emotion and said, "I will do everything I can here today," showing determination. With "Simple Dance," he showed his natural dancer side and even taught 10cm the key choreography, displaying chemistry. At 10cm's request, Jang Woo-young summoned the nostalgic "Dream High" stage and performed a duet, to which the audience responded with enthusiastic cheers and sing-alongs.
At the scene, a VCR of Jang Woo-young's anguished part in 2PM's "Without U," which had been a hot topic, was shown and embarrassed Jang Woo-young. Before re-creating that stage, he asked 10cm to insult him to provoke anger, and 10cm whispered "2AM jjang" in his ear, causing laughter. Jang Woo-young also captured everyone with a variety of stages, performing "Carpet" and the new song "Think Too Much."
Kim Sung-kyu and Kim Min-seok, who are teamed up in the musical "Death Note," delivered a highly complete stage that felt like a scene directly taken from the musical with "Into His Mind." 10cm said, "It's the first time I've met Kim Min-seok on stage as an actor, and I was going to tease him, but I was overwhelmed by his eyes and appeal," praising him, and Kim Min-seok pulled out an actual Death Note and said, "I was going to write him in the Death Note if he teased me," bringing laughter.
Though Kim Sung-kyu and Kim Min-seok taught 10cm the weighty musical breathing despite his lack of musical experience, 10cm performed it in a light, joking tone, adding more laughter. As hit-song-rich artists, INFINITE's and MeloMance's signature song stages followed. Kim Min-seok sang "I Think It's Love" and "Gift" to the piano accompaniment of Jung Dong-hwan, who is active with "Jeongmae and Kungchitachi," delivering MeloMance's unique sentiment. Kim Sung-kyu reinterpreted "Be Mine" with Kim Min-seok and 10cm, and drew enthusiastic responses from the audience with stages such as "Man In Love" and "Chaser."
Jung Se-woon soaked everyone's emotions with the autumn-appropriate "Say It To Me Now." From the same agency as 10cm and wanting to have a deep conversation, Jung Se-woon declared, "I came with the intention of bonding like brothers today." Jung Se-woon newly reinterpreted aespa's "Rich Man" to break down 10cm's emotional walls, and 10cm admired Jung Se-woon's guitar playing, saying, "He uses creative techniques." The two bonded on the spot and grew closer.
Having closed the distance with 10cm, Jung Se-woon opened up about his honest concerns about music, saying, "If until now I tried to fill things up, from now on I think it may be necessary to take things away." In response, 10cm surprised Jung Se-woon with a guitar, saying, "You've already found so many clear answers and you use that energy in your activities, which makes me proud and want to cheer for you," and Jung Se-woon was moved, asking, "Can I really accept this?" He ended by leaving a deep impression and lingering emotion with the "Colors" stage.
