Yoon Hyun-min is taken aback after receiving an unexpected confession from Shin Su-hyun.
In episode 13 of the KBS 2TV weekend drama "Our Golden Days" (directed by Kim Hyung-seok, written by So Hyun-kyung), scheduled to air today, the 20th, at 8 p.m., Park Seong-jae (played by Yoon Hyun-min) is depicted as being flustered after receiving a confession from Lee Su-bin (played by Shin Su-hyun), the sister of his close friend Lee Ji-hyuk (played by Jung Il-woo).
Earlier, Seong-jae had quietly guarded his longtime crush, Ji Eun-o (played by Jung In-sun), staying by her side. He comforted Eun-o, who was hurt and struggling after being rejected by Ji-hyuk, and revealed feelings that were more than friendship. He showed thoughtful care in everyday life, such as playing games together and even taking care of Eun-o on the day of her father's memorial ceremony. He even played the role of a "The Man from Nowhere" by secretly preparing lozenges and supplements for Eun-o, who was hurt by Ji Kang-o's (played by Yang Hyuk) actions.
In the stills released today (the 20th), Seong-jae and Su-bin are shown facing each other inside a car. Su-bin, dressed brightly and holding a large bouquet, gets into Seong-jae's car, and Seong-jae cannot hide his bewildered and complicated expression in the unexpected situation.
After getting out of the car, Su-bin continues her active confession, giving the bouquet with an affectionate manner, and Seong-jae, watching with an expressionless face, eventually lightly taps her forehead and brushes off the confession as if it were nothing.
Su-bin appears slightly hurt by Seong-jae's attitude, but Seong-jae pays no mind and draws a firmer line. Su-bin, who does not back down and reveals her honest feelings, and Seong-jae, who remains expressionless throughout, create a subtle tension. Viewers are left wondering why Su-bin suddenly confessed to Seong-jae and whether Seong-jae's long-held feelings for Eun-o will change after Su-bin's confession.
