The group TWICE is continuing its reputation as a "global top girl group" as it promotes its sixth Japanese studio album and a local dome tour.
According to an announcement on the official website of the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 10th, TWICE's sixth Japanese studio album ENEMY, released Aug. 27, received Gold certification from the Gold Disc as of Aug. 2025. This is awarded to albums that have achieved cumulative shipments of 100,000 copies. TWICE added a new achievement roughly three months after receiving Gold certification in May for the Japanese best-of album #TWICE5.
TWICE, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is continuing its momentum with its sixth world tour THIS IS FOR. As part of the tour, they held dome concerts in Japan at Kyocera Dome Osaka on July 26-27, Vantelin Dome Nagoya on Aug. 23-24, PayPay Dome Fukuoka on Aug. 30-31, and Tokyo Dome on Sept. 16-17, drawing a total of 400,000 spectators in Japan alone and reaffirming their strong ability to attract audiences.
The nine members captivated fans with lively performances on an all-around stage that opened the audience 360 degrees. They opened with the title track THIS IS FOR from their fourth studio album, released in July, and a parade of hit songs including Strategy, SET ME FREE, and I CAN'T STOP ME, which are enjoying global popularity, drew enthusiastic cheers. The setlist, which included the Japanese studio album's title track ENEMY and the track Like 1, written with lyrics by Jihyo, and Hare Hare — all popular locally — brought the live atmosphere to a peak.
Near the end of the Tokyo Dome show, the members said they would keep the promises they made with fans and move on to bigger stages, then announced the release of a documentary film commemorating TWICE's 10th anniversary and additional Japan dates as part of their 2026 world tour, filling the venue with cheers.
Riding the momentum, TWICE will move on to meet worldwide audiences in Macau on Sept. 27-28 (local time), Bulacan on Oct. 4, Singapore on Oct. 11-12, Kuala Lumpur on Oct. 25, Sydney on Nov. 1-2, Melbourne on Nov. 8-9, Kaohsiung on Nov. 22-23, Hong Kong on Dec. 6, and Bangkok on Dec. 13-14.
