Singer Yun Do-hyun, who was declared cured of a rare cancer, was moved by the warm consideration he received from a pharmacist.
On the 18th, Yun Do-hyun posted on his social media, "He absolutely didn't take the medicine fee and told me to sing well, which made me feel grateful and sorry and made me want to be a better person and a better musician," and added, "I'm still far from there, but I'll try. I feel like I'm about to cry."

In 2023, Yun Do-hyun shocked the public by confessing on Instagram that he had been fighting cancer for three years. He confessed, "I think it was a rather hot summer around the time rehearsals for the 2021 musical Gwanghwamun Sonata were just beginning. After a health checkup, I heard the word cancer. The exact diagnosis was a rare cancer called primary gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma, a type of lymphoma. These are the events from 2021 up until a few days ago in the summer of 2023," which stunned many people.
Yun Do-hyun dedicated himself to treatment for about three years without informing others. He said, "I was more worried about causing too much worry, so I didn't tell fans because they might be shocked, and I had only recently told my parents," and revealed, "Two days ago I finished about three years of fighting the disease and was finally declared cured of cancer cells," which put fans' minds at ease.
At the time he added, "I had a strong will to give comfort and hope," and said, "Cancer is like a rugby ball that can bounce anywhere. Although I received a diagnosis that the cancer cells have disappeared, you never know what will happen. I will protect my health with humility and continue to work hard."
He is currently continuing his broadcasting and performance activities and is maintaining his health with the support of the entire nation.
