Pledis Entertainment has drawn its sword against malicious comments directed at the group TWS.
On the 19th, Pledis Entertainment posted a notice on the official fan community platform Weverse that it will take legal action against malicious posts and insulting comments aimed at TWS.
That day the agency said, "Recently, malicious posts such as malicious slander, defamation and insults against our artist TWS have increased sharply to a serious level. Accordingly, we are taking legal action on matters confirmed through our own monitoring and reports from fans, and we will inform you of the main progress."
The agency warned it would respond legally across the board, starting with domestic communities and extending to music sites and overseas social media channels. In particular, TWS said it has begun legal action, including civil lawsuits, against multiple accounts that repeatedly posted malicious posts on the X platform containing severe insulting expressions, slander and mockery targeting specific members.
In this regard the agency said it "reiterates that publicly insulting actions intended to damage an artist's honor or personal rights or to defame them not only cause serious harm to the artist but are illegal acts that can be severely punished under relevant laws."
The agency emphasized, "We will not make any settlements or show leniency for such infringements of rights, and even if it takes time we will thoroughly collect evidence and pursue legal procedures to hold those responsible fully accountable," adding, "We are always grateful for the affection and dedication of fans toward TWS. We will do our best to protect the artists' rights."

Recently, malicious posts such as malicious slander, defamation and insults against our artist TWS have increased sharply to a serious level. Accordingly, we are taking legal action on matters confirmed through our own monitoring and reports from fans, and we are informing you of the main progress.
We have documented malicious posts and comments that infringe on the artist's rights, and the indiscriminate dissemination of such content, across domestic communities (Theqoo, DC Inside, Instiz, Weverse, Naver, Daum, Nate, IlganBest, FM-Korea, etc.), music sites (Melon, Bugs Music, GENIE MUSIC, etc.), and overseas social media channels (X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), and we have filed a complaint with investigative authorities regarding the matter.
In particular, for multiple accounts that repeatedly posted malicious posts on the X platform containing severe insulting expressions, slander and mockery targeting specific members, we have initiated legal action including civil lawsuits. In addition, to identify the account holders and take follow-up measures, we are currently carrying out legal procedures, including requests for information disclosure, with overseas courts such as those in the United States.

Fan interest and reports have been a great help in our legal response. If you find malicious posts related to the artist, please promptly submit an active report through the HYBE artist rights infringement reporting site.
In this regard, to help make fans' reports more effective in leading to legal action, we provide the following precautions. Submitted materials must clearly identify all information about the post, such as the URL, poster name, post content and date of capture, for them to be legally meaningful.
Therefore, whenever possible please submit a full-screen capture image from a PC screen or a full-screen print file (PDF) format, which reveal information more clearly than mobile screens, as this will greatly assist the legal process.
