BLACKPINK announced additional shows for their world tour.
On the 19th, YG Entertainment posted the 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR
This is thanks to the explosive support of global audiences. In fact, tickets for the originally planned shows sold out rapidly as soon as reservations opened, prompting a flood of inquiries about additional performances, and YG explained they decided to expand the schedule in response.
With this, BLACKPINK will perform 20 shows in eight cities in Asia alone. Earlier, they had announced performances including the Goyang shows held last July: Oct. 18 and 19 in Kaohsiung; Oct. 24, 25 and 26 in Bangkok; Nov. 1 and 2 in Jakarta; Nov. 22 and 23 in Bulacan; Nov. 29 and 30 in Singapore; Jan. 16, 17 and 18 in Tokyo; and Jan. 24 and 25 in Hong Kong.
Most of the stages BLACKPINK performs on are stadium-scale venues that can hold tens of thousands. It reasserts their formidable stature as a top global artist. Added to this is the heat surrounding their new song "JUMP," which recently swept the world and dominated the charts, so their overwhelming influence is expected to grow even stronger.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK began the 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR' in July with the first K-pop girl group performance at Goyang Sports Complex, and the tour extends across 16 cities and 33 shows
