A good deed by actor Rowoon, formerly of the group SF9, has been reported. He planned a special meeting after hearing that one of his devoted fans was battling an illness.
Digital media channel dingo will release the episode of "Good job today, too" featuring Rowoon on the Dingo Story official YouTube channel today (19th) at 7 p.m.
"Good job today, too" is one of dingo's killer contents produced since 2016, in which a star who achieved their dream visits the everyday lives of young people pursuing their dreams to offer support and hope through a reality program.
In this video, Rowoon meets a passionate fan who said they found comfort in his work while battling illness. Appearing before the protagonist, who thought they were there for a fan interview shoot, Rowoon succeeds in the surprise event with a statue-like visual and bright smile as if he had stepped out of a romance comic, holding a bouquet.
Rowoon's reverse gift event that he personally prepared for the protagonist is also revealed. With the sense to prepare a space decorated with cute balloons and his photos, a cake engraved with the protagonist's initials, and a lunchbox with a variety of menus, Rowoon proudly shows deep "fan love."
The conversation continues about "The Murky Stream," Disney+'s first original historical series starring Rowoon, which is set to be released on the 26th. "The Murky Stream" is an action historical drama about the fate-shaping struggle of people who dreamed different dreams to overturn a corrupt world and live like decent people, centered around Gyeonggang, where all of Joseon's money and resources gather.
Rowoon, who plays Jang Si-yul, a bully who will shake Gyeonggang in the drama, described his role as "a person with nowhere to return to whose name must not be called." He also raised expectations by saying, "It doesn't use flashy techniques, and the action is very realistic. It will be fun to watch."
Rowoon will enlist for active duty on Oct. 27 to fulfill his military obligations after the release of "The Murky Stream." Earlier, his agency FNC Entertainment said, "Rowoon, who was originally scheduled to enlist on Jul. 21, received a reexamination (grade 7) at the military entrance physical and underwent a follow-up reexamination in early Aug., and will enlist for active duty on Oct. 27."
