Tzuyang, a mukbang YouTuber, voiced her difficulties while filming her first regular variety show. It was an unusual story that the more she filmed, the hungrier she became.
Tzuyang said on the morning of the 19th at a press conference for the new variety show "I don't know where it will go," jointly produced by ENA, NTX and ComedyTV, held in the Grand Ballroom of Stanford Hotel Seoul in Mapo-gu, Seoul, "On days I film, I'm actually hungrier," drawing curiosity.
"I don't know where it will go" is an impromptu restaurant relay in which restaurant owners recommend their life-changing eateries and the destination is decided. Through "I don't know where it will go," Tzuyang will be taking on a regular variety show challenge for the first time in seven years of personal broadcasting.
That day Tzuyang said, "The PD contacted me, and I went to meet and greet him because I felt apologetic, and he spoke very comfortably. He made me feel no pressure, so I decided to appear right away," and added, "People around me also told me, 'Try appearing since you'll be with good people,' so I decided to appear; it's very nice and they're treating me well. I feel like I'm socializing."
Although she made a quick decision to appear, Tzuyang also had difficulties. Tzuyang said, "I already knew that direct casting is often difficult. I worried whether bookings would go well during filming," and added, "The travel time was long, so I was very hungry. The day I film is the day I eat the least." Although Tzuyang is known as a big eater, on filming days she actually eats less and has lost weight.
Tzuyang added, "Toward the end of filming I order delivery to my home. I'm hungry but it's fun."
Meanwhile, actor Ahn Jae-hyun and broadcaster Jonathan, who appear with her, said they were surprised by the amount Tzuyang eats. Ahn Jae-hyun said, "There is a black hole inside Tzuyang," and Jonathan said, "She never says she's full."
"I don't know where it will go," starring Kim Dae-ho, Ahn Jae-hyun, Tzuyang and Jonathan, will premiere on the 21st at 7:30 p.m.
