On the 19th, an outdoor stage greeting for the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) TVING series "Dear X" was held at the BIFF outdoor stage at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae District, Busan.
Starting with the opening film "There Is No Other Way," a total of 328 films will be screened at this Busan International Film Festival, combining 241 official selections from 64 countries and Community BIFF screenings. This year, 14 films were invited to the newly established competitive institutional sector, and five "Busan Awards" will be presented. The awards will be given across five institutional sectors for Asian films: grand prize, best director, jury special prize, actor awards (2), and artistic contribution award. Winners will receive a trophy designed with the concept of Apichatpong Weerasethakul, the world-renowned Thai director and installation artist.
