A mukbang YouTuber with 12 million subscribers, Tzuyang, explained why she is taking on her first regular variety show role in "Where will it bounce?".
Tzuyang shared her thoughts on joining the program at a press conference for the new variety show "Where will it bounce?" co-produced by ENA, NXT and ComedyTV, held at 11 a.m. on the 19th in the Grand Ballroom of Stanford Hotel Seoul in Mapo District, Seoul.
That day, regarding taking on a regular variety show role, Tzuyang said, "I was mainly focused on my YouTube activities, but the producer contacted me," adding, "I felt sorry, so I went out to at least see their face and greet them, and they spoke so comfortably. They made me feel no pressure, so I decided to appear immediately."
Tzuyang is taking on a regular variety show role for the first time in seven years since she began personal broadcasting. Previously, she had said about this, "I didn't consider variety shows because I felt pressure to speak well and worried I might be a burden to others. But the production team telling me, 'It's okay if you're not funny,' gave me great strength and I decided to appear."
"Where will it bounce?" is a no-scouting life-changing restaurant relay variety show that, without a set list or preplanned course, seeks out truly reliable 100% real restaurants recommended directly by top restaurant owners.
It will premiere at 7:50 p.m. on the 21st.
