On the 19th at the BIFF outdoor stage at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae District, Busan, the outdoor stage greeting for the film "Protector" took place at the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
At this year's Busan International Film Festival, starting with the opening film "There Is Nothing I Can Do," a total of 328 films will be screened, including 241 official selections from 64 countries and Community BIFF screenings. This year, 14 films were invited to the newly established competition institutional sector, and five "Busan Awards" will be presented. Awards will be given across five institutional sectors for Asian films: the grand prize, best director, jury special prize, acting awards (two recipients), and the artistic contribution award. Winners will receive a trophy designed with the concept created by Thai world-renowned director and installation artist Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
