The song "GO!" by the group CORTIS is being recalled to music shows.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) will perform the debut album intro track "GO!" on SBS' Inkigayo, airing on the 21st. That day Juhun and Geonho will appear as special MCs to provide a variety of entertainment.
"GO!" was released as a music video on Sept. 11, before the official release of the debut album "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES." All members participated in the song's production and took charge of creating the choreography. They performed the track several times on music shows while promoting the title track "What You Want." That marked the start of a challenge craze on social media, and as a result the song has risen on digital charts. Riding that popularity, they will perform the song again on music shows.
"GO!" surpassed 10 million cumulative streams on Spotify as of Sept. 16. After 640,000 streams on the day of release (Sept. 8), it showed a gradual rise and within a week surpassed 1 million daily streams (Sept. 15). It also reached No. 2 on Apple Music Korea's Today's Top 100 and became the first song by a boy group that debuted this year to break into Melon's real-time Top 100 chart.
As of 2 p.m. on the 19th, videos using the "GO!" audio on the global short-form video platform TikTok approached 80,000. A challenge where people follow the forward-moving choreography is popular mainly among Gen-Z. Participation by celebrities is notable, including BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, senior acts under BigHit Music, as well as ZEROBASEONE's Jang Hao and Bummingtiger Omega Sapien.
CORTIS will release the teaser for the debut album track "JoyRide" at 12 a.m. on the 20th and the full "JoyRide" music video at 12 a.m. on the 21st. The videos can be viewed on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel.
