Singer Lim Young-woong topped the list of variety show cast members with strong online buzz as the "island bachelor hero."
According to the Korea Communications Commission's Broadcasting Content Value Information Analysis System (RACOI) on the 18th, Lim Young-woong ranked No. 1 overall among variety show cast members in online reaction analysis for the second week of September (Sept. 8–Sept. 14) for the SBS variety show "Island Bachelor Hero." No. 2 was Jun Hyun-moo (MBN "Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2"), and No. 3 was Kim Jong-kook (SBS "Running Man").
Premiering on 26th, "Island Bachelor Hero" is a variety program that captures the unplanned island village daily life of Lim Young-woong and his close friends. Upon airing, it ranked No. 5 among Netflix Korea series and held the same spot for two consecutive weeks. It also topped terrestrial Tuesday variety ratings for three straight weeks.
Lim Young-woong is also actively pursuing music. "IM HERO 2," released on 29th, contains a total of 11 tracks, including the title song "Like the Moment Is Forever." He is set to kick off the nationwide arena tour concert "IM HERO" in Oct.
