"Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2" welcomes singer-turned-actors Yoojin and Ji Hyun-woo as "eating friends," who reveal their debut days and the stories of switching to acting.
The full-fledged real street food documentary "Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2" (a joint production of MBN and Channel S), airing at 9:10 p.m. on the 19th, will feature Jun Hyun-moo, KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) and "eating friend" Yoojin for a "taste of nostalgia" special, showcasing Yoojin's "Yoojin plan."
That day, with singer-turned-actors Yoojin and Ji Hyun-woo appearing together as "eating friends," the four head to a budae-jjigae restaurant in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, with 38 years of history, following the "Yoojin plan." Thanks to regular customer Yoojin, the booking went through quickly, and after the four finished ordering, Yoojin said, "I first came here with S.E.S members after debuting in 1997. This is really 'game over'!" raising the eating tension. Shortly after, when the unique-flavored budae-jjigae and the nostalgic sausage & steak grill arrived, the four launched into a storm of eating.
After a successful mukbang, Jun Hyun-moo asked Yoojin and Ji Hyun-woo while moving to the next restaurant, "How did you switch from being a singer to an actor?" Ji Hyun-woo said, "Honestly, I had no intention of switching to acting at first," and recalled, "I started as a guitarist session for Moonchild and was paid 100,000 won a year. Then I got a bit part and was paid 50,000 won per day, and I was so happy." He added, "My face became known from bit parts so I was cast as a lead right away, and in 2003 I was luckily accepted in KBS's open talent auditions," which surprised everyone. Meanwhile, Yoojin said, "Actually when I was in S.E.S I received acting offers but turned them down," prompting curiosity about why she refused roles at that time.
Meanwhile, the "taste of nostalgia" eating trip by eating bros Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube, who shared a meal with Yoojin and Ji Hyun-woo — the couple who will play spouses in MBN's new Wednesday-Thursday miniseries "First Lady" — will be revealed in episode 47 of "Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2," airing at 9:10 p.m. on the 19th.
