Actress Choi Ji-hye has been cast in the drama "Let's Go to the Moon."
Choi Ji-hye will appear as Kim Eun-jin in MBC's new Fri.-Sat. drama "Let's Go to the Moon," which premieres on the 19th (planning: Jang Jae-hoon/directors: Oh Da-young, Jeong Hoon/screenplay: Na Yoon-chae/production: Bon Factory).
"Let's Go to the Moon," based on the bestselling novel of the same name by writer Jang Ryu-jin, is a work that depicts a hyperrealism survival story about three women from poor backgrounds who, unable to survive on salaries alone, jump into crypto coin investments and the events that follow.
In "Let's Go to the Moon," Choi Ji-hye plays Kim Eun-jin, an accounting team employee at Maron Bakery. Portrayed as an indecisive character without courage or backbone who is swept around here and there, Choi Ji-hye will enhance viewers' immersion by sensitively depicting Eun-jin's various charms through her acting.
Choi Ji-hye, who debuted in 2021 with the web drama "I Helped a Female Friend Confess" on the YouTube channel "Cheese Film," appeared in numerous web dramas such as "Male Group Female Friend Season 2," "Hipjirodic?纛?," "Female Colleague Friend," "The High School Girl Who Hid Her Real Face," and "The Best Way to Overcome a Breakup," earning great love and being called the "web drama goddess."
Last year she showed a step-up in acting with the dramas "The Chairman Is 9th Grade" and "I, a Gangster, Became a High School Student," and she has been steadily building her own filmography, including playing Choi Hyun-bi in the Tving short original "Me, Me and I," released last month.
The MBC new Fri.-Sat. drama "Let's Go to the Moon," featuring Choi Ji-hye, will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on the 19th.
