Actor Ku Hye-sun, who drew attention after obtaining a patent for the "fold-out hair roller" product, announced a new start as the head of a venture company.
On 17th, Ku Hye-sun posted a photo on her social media (SNS) along with the caption, "I am an introverted CEO."
The photo shows a venture company confirmation certificate and the exterior wall of an office. According to the certificate, the company name "Studio Ku Hye-sun Co., Ltd." and CEO Ku Hye-sun are specified along with the designation "innovation growth type."
Recently, Ku Hye-sun drew attention by sharing that she became the head of a venture company. While pursuing a master of engineering at the KAIST Graduate School of Science Journalism, Ku obtained a patent for a "fold-out hair roller" product she developed herself. She is preparing a business with this hair roller product, nicknamed "Ku Roll" (KOO ROLL).
This was revealed on MBC's "Radio Star," which aired in Jan. Ku Hye-sun's hair roller shown on the program was designed to lay flat for portability, unlike typical hair rollers. It is stored folded into a rectangle and, when used, is bent and rolled into a circular shape.
Ku Hye-sun previously said that while studying in the Department of Film at Sungkyunkwan University, she saw the hair rollers students used and thought, "Why are they always that shape? Aren't they inconvenient to carry?" which led her to make one herself.
