A "V.A.F showcase" connecting virtual and real will be held.
The V.A.F showcase (Virtual Artist Festival Showcase) will be held on Oct. 1 (Wed) at Arju Cheongdam in Gangnam District, Seoul.
This showcase is a new-concept event encompassing performances, exhibitions and experiences that cross reality and fantasy, featuring next-generation girl group BEWAVE, refreshing sensibility band O.A.Be, as well as Inxia and Erdo, and will present a new stage that fuses virtual artists and K-POP.
In addition, virtual IPs from Royal Streamer, such as Obanana, Seolhee, Royalcon, Kim Gwa-il, Chaerin, Kairos and Ari, are set to make their debut. Audiences can enjoy unique experiences beyond simple concert viewing through AR-based character collection experiences, real-time interaction and links with global streaming platforms. Through virtual and real-time communication features, this event, which will connect directly with overseas fans on site, is expected to present a new popular culture format combining K-POP and virtual content.
A Royal Streamer official, who organized the event, said the V.A.F showcase was planned so that audiences can experience not only exhibitions but also AR-based character collection experiences, virtual shows with real-time interaction, and collaborative performances of K-POP×virtual.
Especially with live broadcasts enabling real-time communication with overseas fans, it offers a new format of popular culture experience. "It will be a new type of showcase where reality and virtual, music and writing, stars and fans gather in one place," the official said.
