Actor Ki Tae-young revealed his "gold spoon" past.
On the 17th, the "Yujin VS Tae-young" channel uploaded a video titled "18 nostalgic snacks that anyone born in the '80s and '90s will definitely relate to."
That day, Yujin and Ki Tae-young ate harmful snacks they had as children and reminisced about those memories. Then the production staff asked, "How much pocket money did you get per day?" and Yujin said, "I don't remember that. Did I receive pocket money regularly? I think I might not have received it."
In response, Ki Tae-young said, "There was no such thing. If I said I needed something, (they gave it to me)." Then Yujin said, "He was well-off here when he was young. From what I heard, there was a basket on the living room table filled with money. He would take as much as he needed and spend it," which surprised listeners.
Ki Tae-young agreed and said, "So when I was in elementary school I took my friends to Lotte World and Seoul Land several times a week," he confessed. Yujin said, "He said he took everyone there," and added, "We should have met back then," expressing regret and prompting laughter.
But Ki Tae-young shook his head and said, "No. I was weak at that time," and Yujin said, "He was weak because he was affluent," conveying that he had been a "greenhouse flower."
Ki Tae-young said, "If things had continued as they were, I would have become a weak man," but when Yujin said, "Then we wouldn't have met," he replied firmly, "But we met anyway." Yujin asked, "How?" and Ki Tae-young answered, "Somehow..," adding warmth to the moment.
