'Radio Star' Jung Bo-suk shared an anecdote about filming with Yum Jung-ah.
On the 17th episode of MBC variety show 'Radio Star', in the 'Guilty people collection.ZIP' special, Jung Bo-suk, Lee Seok-hoon, Ong Seong-woo and Woozi appeared.
That day Jung Bo-suk mentioned 'Ambition', a drama that had been greatly loved in the past, in which he appeared with Choi Soo-jong and Yum Jung-ah. He opened by saying, "There is an amusing anecdote," and "At home they were matching Yum Jung-ah and me together, Yum Jung-ah goes to Choi Soo-jong. In the drama there was a scene where I slap Yum Jung-ah," he began.
He went on, "When I do a hitting scene, I say let's act without actually hitting. If someone gets very emotional while hitting, shouldn't they not hit? But Yum Jung-ah kept saying, 'You have to hit for it to be real,' and insisted on being really hit," explaining the awkward situation.
Jung Bo-suk, who had a tussle with Yum Jung-ah, said, "I kept saying I couldn't do that, but she chased me around asking me to slap her. So I actually hit her during filming. I said I would control it, but Yum Jung-ah was slapped once and fell down," he revealed.
In the end he said the director shouted, 'You son of a bitch, what are you doing?' He said, "I was angry too, saying, 'Didn't I say I wouldn't hit?' and left the set. I was very upset. Yum Jung-ah later apologized. Since there was footage of the slapping scene, afterwards we practiced the choreography and did it again," he said with a laugh.
Then Kim Gu-ra said, "So it was distorted and people said, 'Jung Bo-suk has a strong punch,'" creating a rumor that he was the punch king of the entertainment industry and drawing laughter.
