'믿듣퍼' MONSTA X member Minhyuk continues his distinctive 'arttainer' activities.
According to his agency Starship Entertainment, Minhyuk will participate as an audio guide in the Korean modern and contemporary art exhibition "The moment that stays, the heart that flows," held by Suwon Museum of Art to mark its 10th anniversary.
"The moment that stays, the heart that flows" is an exhibition showcasing works by major artists representing Korean modern and contemporary art, including Na Hye-seok, Park Soo-keun, Im Gun-hong, Park Rae-hyun and Chun Kyung-ja. The exhibition runs from the 26th through Jan. 11 of next year, and visitors can scan QR codes inside the exhibition hall with their personal mobile devices to freely listen to Minhyuk's audio guide.
Since his debut in 2015, Minhyuk has shown deep affection and interest in art. He customizes costumes and props with his own paintings and calligraphy, and while painting on canvas he communicated with listeners and guests as the host of NAVER NOW.'Bogueu Sipseu Show' for 1 year and 8 months, showcasing impressive painting skills.
In 2023, he presented a collaborative exhibition with street artist Doezny and carbonated drink brand Mountain Dew (MOUNTAIN DEW), and after his discharge he participated in the "2024 France K-Expo," presenting an art talk show with his own paintings and solidifying his position as an "arttainer."
Through his agency, Minhyuk said, "I am grateful to Suwon Museum of Art for giving me the opportunity to participate as an audio guide in this meaningful exhibition. I am happy to take part in introducing Korean modern and contemporary artworks, and it is an honor to be able to join with my voice in the museum's 10th anniversary this year," adding, "Please show much interest and support for the 'The moment that stays, the heart that flows' exhibition."
Meanwhile, MONSTA X, of which Minhyuk is a member, recently completed full-group comeback activities for the first time in about five years with their new mini album The X (THE X).
