Actress Lee Ji-hoon's wife Miura Ayane decided to raise her daughter herself without her aunt's help.
On the 16th Ayane posted a long message on her social account and wrote, "Everyone, I've made a big decision!! While I was in Japan I cared for the child almost alone and had a hard time, but the 24 hours I spent attached to Ruhui were so precious. I'm a person who is a capital T yet I also thought, "I hope Ruhui will remember the time she spent with me when she grows up," and she opened with a laugh.
She said, "The truth is that when Ruhui was about 6 months old she had severe de Quervain's tenosynovitis, and after that I borrowed a short daily period of help from my aunt. She loved Ruhui so much that even after my wrist healed, because I'm a working mom she stayed with us. This time my aunt had personal circumstances and had to stop. At first I was flustered and hurried to find someone else, but suddenly… I felt I didn't want to miss Ruhui's expressions, gestures, ways of expressing herself, and babbling that I can only see now. So I decided not to hire a new aunt and to take care of her myself," she revealed.
She continued, "I don't know how long I can do this while working and taking care of my body, but I want to build more memories with Ruhui at this moment. I made the right decision, right? During the six days I was in Japan handling everything alone my wrist started to hurt a bit again… but I'll be careful… until we have a second child!! (Even though it hasn't happened yet haha) Our strong, sweet Ruhui, mom and dad will have you all to ourselves and you'll be showered with love, my love," she resolved.
In response Lee Ji-hoon left a comment saying, "Oppa will help a lot more, don't worry," and Ayane added, "Please also help tomorrow morning."
Meanwhile, Lee Ji-hoon married 14-years-younger Japanese Miura Ayane in 2021, and she became pregnant through in vitro fertilization, giving birth to their first daughter Ruhui last July.
