Choi Su-ho appeared on MBN's "2025 Korea-Japan king of singers," commemorating the 60th anniversary of Korea-Japan diplomatic relations, broadcast the afternoon of the 16th, delivering a stage filled with intense sexiness that captivated viewers.
"Korea-Japan king of singers" is the world's only Korea-Japan national music competition in which the TOP7 of Korea's "King of Singers" and the TOP7 of "King of Singers Japan" represent their countries and compete for pride. This season, planned in the special year marking the 60th anniversary of Korea-Japan diplomatic relations, expands beyond a simple music contest to become a cultural exchange and pride war between the two countries, adding to its significance.
On this broadcast, the first round of the main competition, a 1-on-1 impromptu selection, continued following last week. Choi Su-ho, who revealed the behind-the-scenes story, "This is my father's nostalgic song from when he attended university in Japan. I asked him what songs were 'hot' then," surprised everyone by selecting the Japanese national band Southern All Stars' "Erotica Seven (EROTICA SEVEN)."
On stage, Choi Su-ho appeared under dim lighting wearing a red shirt and a black cape, evoking a Dracula-like visual that captured attention from the start. As the powerful sound erupted, he performed powerful dances perfectly synchronized with the dancers, filling the venue with intense energy from the outset.
Along with dynamic choreography, Choi Su-ho displayed unwavering, flawless live vocals and completely dominated the stage. Midway through the song, he moved to a projecting stage, knelt toward the audience and even performed a sexy wave motion, devastating the venue.

In the voting results, Choi Su-ho won with a total score of 101 points, combining 61 points from the Korea-Japan public judging panel and 40 points from the celebrity judging panel, defeating Takuya, who received 99 points. By winning all three stages—the preliminary ranking exploration, and the main competition first round 1-on-1 impromptu selection—he fully proved the overwhelming skill of the "trot trend."
